Welcome to the Northumbria Branch
of the BCSS
We meet on the second Thursday of most months (unless indicated
otherwise) at St Aidan's Community Centre, Brunton Park, North
Gosforth, Newcastle-on-Tyne. See our contact
page for more details of how to find us.
For most of our meetings we have a speaker, a visual presentation, table shows and time for discussion with like-minded folk. We often share a speaker with our sister Branch Teesside (Wednesday) which enables members to hear two consecutive but entirely different talks.
See our meetings
page for further details.
Please bring along any month
- Plants you wish to be identified
- Plants with which you are having particular problems
- Plants for the Table Show as indicated in the schedule
Above all please try and attend whenever possible as small groups quickly become unviable and disappear.
This is now the only active Branch between Teesside and Fife. and, apart from Teesside, our nearest Branches are York, Glasgow and North Fylde.
Visitors are always welcome at any of our meetings. If you are in the Newcastle area why not come along.
